Automated guided vehicles (AGV)

Automated guided vehicles are the backbone of Industry 4.0. They are increasingly taking over important tasks in warehousing and production supply. VAHLE solutions ensure reliable and safe power supply to AGVs.

Flexible power supply for mobile transport robots

In modern production facilities, manufacturing rarely takes place on rigid assembly lines. Goods are also hardly ever transported by hand today. Instead, driverless transport systems or Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) are increasingly being used as part of agile and flexible work processes.

Autonomous helpers are also increasingly taking on important tasks outside the factory halls. In hospitals, for example, they transport food, medicines or waste. An important prerequisite for this is a reliable energy supply.

Different areas of application place different demands on AGVs. Some transport processes allow longer waiting times or downtimes, during which the transport robots can be supplied with energy via stationary charging contacts without any problems. In other places, however, the conditions require a continuous and contactless power supply.

VAHLE has a wide range of standard products. We also have application-specific solutions ready for all applications.
