23.05.2017 | VAHLE solution supports to win the Felixstowe Environment Award
For more than 100 years, VAHLE has been the global leader in mobile power and data solutions. It began in 1912 when Paul Vahle invented the original copperhead open conductor system while working in a local steel mill. Since then VAHLE has continued to develop innovative new products and system-solutions for any application worldwide wherever quality and reliability are top priorities while maintaining awareness of environmental concerns.
VAHLE is proud to announce that the inaugural Port of Felixstowe Environment award was won by the port's "eRTG Project" in the first quarter of 2017. More than 100 years as a global leader in mobile power and data solutions combined with the development of innovative products are paying out. New efficient solutions for smarter handling are helping to create a greener vision of the future.
The win of the award recognises the positive environmental impact of the conversion of previously diesel powered Rubber Tyred Gantry cranes (RTG) to electric power.
