The cable tender is an
alternative to a heavy-duty cable festoon system:
- suitable for high travel speeds
- gentle cable guidance
- minimal spatial requirements
- no cable loops
- only requires half the cable length

A cable tender is used for powering trolleys
for OHT cranes, steel mill cranes, loading bridges, stacker cranes,
container cranes, etc. Besides electrical cables, hoses for water,
compressed air, oxygen, fuel, etc., can be supported so that cable
tenders can also be used to power machine tools, combustion engines,
etc.
